Evie hails from an isolated part of northern Faerun known as the Tortured Land. There she was a huntress member of the sole Ondonti tribe that escaped capture by the Zhentarim. Unlike most orcs, the Ondonti are peaceful worshippers of the Green Goddess, Eldath. Though the Ondonti are typically pacifistic in nature, Evie’s longing to free her people from the slavery of the Zhents lead her to follow Mog on her journey across the stars in search of the strength and tools needed to fight the Black Network.

Update: Despite the fact that most Ondonti are peaceful and religious folk, Evie has proven to be much more of a radical, explaining why she was rather eager to follow Mog. Shortly after arriving on the Rock of Bral Evie met and befriended Gortak, who agreed to help her seek out Mog. They discovered that Mog was being held captive by Prince Andru on a minor civil offense. While she desired to fight to release her mentor, Lady Ophelia intervened and persuaded her to be patient for the time being.

Evie accompanied Gortak to Faerun on Aldrin’s search for Julius Davenoak and his Holy Avenger sword, and later attended his wedding to Eirwyn. The event would prove to be fatal to Evie, as she was slain when Eirwyn’s half-brother Marcus, an antipaladin, arrived. She was resurrected on the Rock of Bral, after which her patience came to an end and she convinced Gortak to raid Prince Andru’s dungeon. Attempting to break out Mog, she was subsequently captured after slaying several guards, and sentenced to death.

Aldrin and Shane stopped the execution and convinced Prince Andru to hold a retrial, during which her sentence was changed from death to life imprisonment. Rash action has ended Evie’s adventuring career early, serving as a reminder of Bral’s strict policy of nonviolence within the city.
