The ranger of Yuireshan, Revyan was young when the Yuir elves were driven from the Sildeyuir by the fae queen. Only having some memories of the demiplane, he spent most of his childhood in various refugee camps that existed before Yuireshan was made. His family suffered greatly from cruelty by the neighboring humans, and his sister was even captured and sold into slavery in Thay. Revyan pursued her for a decade, but by the time he found her she was already dead. Taking that bitterness, he returned to Yuireshan and vowed to hunt any humans who approached.

His feelings began to soften over time however, and after adventuring with Ophelia and the others from Vesta on their quest to destroy the fey queen, he began to understand the part his own people played in their demise. While he did not forgive humans, after losing all of his friends to forest spirits driven mad, he saw that Ophelia at least was just and decided to follow her in an effort to distance himself from painful memories while simultaneously indulging in elven wanderlust. During his time in the Faegard his life was saved by the fey Morvyn, who Revyan begrudgingly owes his life to. Later, during the wedding of Aldrin and Eirwyn, he was slain in battle against Marcus, only to be raised from the dead by the party upon their return to Bral.
